Bad first impressions 1. This hot sauce is expired in the picture shown 2. There was a huge black fly flying around, was gross3. I asked for strawberry lemonade, she gave me pink lemonade. I didnt care but the pink lemonade was watered down. Other than that. The food was a 8 out of 10 for me. The tortillas tasted old. But the beans, meat and rice. Were really flavorful.

WeΓ’β¬β’ve been going here for YEARS. WeΓ’β¬β’ve had so many dining experiencesΓ’β¬βgreat, good, bad, ughh. Unfortunately this time was not good. Poor server was running around like crazy! Food came out slowly, I ordered chicken soup & it came after everyone was finished eating. Hopefully things will go better next time!!

Food was excellent. Beer was nice and cold. Service was excellent. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that they need to assign someone the task of picking up the straw wrappers, napkin wrappers,etc that gets blown off tables. This is evident around the edge of patio. The view is beautiful please keep it that way.

You have to sit on the rear patio overlooking the lake. Gorgeous views and great food. Fire pit and corn hole.

The food is always great and hot. The drinks are tasty and strong. It always smells clean and looks clean. I mean what else do you want. Go there!!!!

Their version of great Mexican food make you wonder why you'd eat anywhere else, big portion's of deliciousness served here! Fantastic Margarita's too! In the Summer month's you can also be seated on the deck out back with a beautiful view of Lake Erie , and if you time it rite a picture perfect sunset.

This is a great place to enjoy a nice meal.. The prices are good the food taste great and comes out in a timely manner.The staff is nice and attentive. The bathrooms are clean I think a clean bathroom show a lot about a place. They have a bar in back with great drinks. OUTDOOR patio right on the lake.. great on a nice sunny afternoon with a margarita in your hand. Oh and the place looks like a castle. Which is awesome to see in lorain Ohio. Check it out you won't be mad about making the stop to this restaurant. For some great food and good drink.

This place is stunning. A majestic castle with an awesome view of Lake Erie. Eat in or out on the open deck. Authentic Mexican food. Portions are huge! Kids, teenagers, even most adults I would strongly suggest splitting a meal- 4 out of 5 of us didn't come close to finishing. Plan on spending $10-$15 for the average meal- well worth it. Very happy with the food and the service. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Nice place for a change of atmosphere and entertainment. I ordered what i believe was a papsito with avocado ummm...it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It was bland but i did have a bunch of salt in the middle of it, Maybe it was just an off day. I hadn't been back since. Willing to go back, But our server was nice and attentive

Flavors are more american than Mexican, if you are looking for authentic Mexican style this is Not the place, service a little bit slow despite only 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant..

Not my kind of mexican food, had more of an Italian flavor, Would definitely come back for the chips and salsa and have a Margarita on the deck lake side.

Lived in Lorain all my life and this was the first time ever, being here. My wife and I, loved it. Food was great, hot, and had much flavor.Those Margaritas, where the hand made ones, which I recommend. Ian, the bartender, made for great conversation, as well as the manager, making sure everything was on par, which is was.Highly recommend this place over Los Toros..

The food was very good, however the waitress was not well trained. She did not come to see if everything was ok or did we need anything. I was very disappointed in the service. There was many things we needed. Napkins. Spoon. Sour cream . She was nowhere to be found. We had to go get our own napkins.

Homemade food. Beautiful deck on Lake Erie. Reasonable pricing. Drink specials. The only drawback was while sitting on the deck a guy was smoking while I was trying to enjoy my dinner, so just beware if you don't enjoy swallowing someone else's cigarettes.

I walked in and the music was playing and it was a feeling of being like in Southern Arizona. The people that walked up to me where the owners or the sons of the owners and they were all very courteous and very very attentive. The food was more that I could ask for. The plate was huge and was completely full. The atmosphere was amazing the food was amazing I just can't say enough. It's going to be my happy place when I need a place to go.

Delightful. I ordered 2 camaron quesadillas with a red homemade sangria. The blend was perfect for my tastebuds from a long drive. I drove past and flipped a u turn because of how gentle this place looked. Inside was even well maintained and beautiful. The service was on point. Muchas gracious to the gentleman who served me.

Eye catching from the road. Free standing structure. Handicapped parking and ramp. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Bar inside and even corn hole to play outside. Great atmosphere by waters edge and view. Good portions and fair pricing with festive music! A great place for large groups! Enjoy this one! I did!

I debated whether to go after some reviews. But it was a beautiful by the lake and took a chance. Walked in the door and we were seated right away. As soon as we were seated chip and salsa was set before us. Hmmmm. So I thought let's see and I took note. Salsa was fresh and tasty. After our order was taken, in 8 min and 23 seconds and our dinner was before us. The real test. How did it taste??? My husband said," this is very tasty. " So we left confused about some of the reviews. But we definitely will go back.

This was our first time here. It definitely won't be the last, though. From the striking and unique facade of the building to the beauty and serenity of the lakefront patio and deck, we were very pleased and impressed. The food was authentic and delicious. I had the Pollo Ranchero and my Fiance had the Tierra y Mar. Both my chicken and his steak were excellent. The $1.99 lime Margaritas were a bonus!! I guess we'll be returning on many future Mondays and Wednesdays. I highly recommend this restaurant as not only is the food great and the prices fair but the atmosphere feels like you stepped over the border for a mini 2 hour vacation. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return.

The best Mexican food with a lake View!! The food Is really Mexican and the margaritas are huge!! AND you can sit outside looking at the lake , the service was amazing!!

Pretty impressed with this little place. Haven't been here since the 1970s/80s. Damn good food, really good service. I would bring folks here for a casual lunch or a nicer dinner. Even nice for a business meal.

Absolutely fantastic! Can't figure out why the rating isn't higher here. Best house salsa I've ever had! Chips were also top notch. All the food was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and checked on us often. After finding out we were from out of town, even took us on a tour of the establishment. Said they have live bands on the back patio which is right on the lake. Will definitely stop back if we pass through again... I mean how can u pass up eating in a castle?!?
